Deer season opens next Monday on the 9th, leaving Saturday on the 7th for the whole week. My brother and I have been talking about this day for the last 10 months and here it is on us. Going to have a good, both of us are in bad health and it might be out last one together.

My grandson, Colton just had his second birthday, this is what he requested.

My Son, Scott Dale was Ordained this past week-end and no one can can understand my joy and excitement, knowing where his life has taken him the past 20 years.

Spent the week-end with my Brother at squirrel camp and had a great time. We did not kill very many squirrels, but enjoyed the outside very much, beautiful weather and week-end.

My surgery is over with and it went like I expected, I squalled just like a little baby, that crap hurt. He said it was an outpatient surgery, he lied, I wanted to stay like a month. He did say he was confident that he got all the cancer but will not know for sure until my first cat scan in 2 weeks.

Surgery in the morning at 6am, I am not looking forward to it, but anxious to get it over with.

Went dove hunting yesterday and got a limit, first time I have done that in probably 25 years.

Another day has past and my mind is running wild. Had to go give blood today in preparation of surgery, just makes you think harder about what might be.

Today is the 22nd and my surgery was postponed for another week. My mind is wondering all over the place, and of course, always thinking the worst. I have a very thoughtful christian family and very good friends to be with me during this time.

Well, my journey starts on Tuesday, Sep. 22, 2015. I have a tumor on my kidney and I will have it taken off Tuesday. I don't know what lies ahead, but I will meet it with the Lord.
